Venus Legal approved as a Kickstart organisation

Venus Legal has been appointed as an approved Kickstart organisation

The Kickstart scheme was launched by Chancellor Rishi Sunak in September 2020.    The  scheme was launched to help young workers find employment during the pandemic.

The Kickstart scheme enables employers to have a significant impact on young people who need support.

Kickstart placements will last 6 months, the aim of the placement is to help young people work on the skills required to secure further employment.  The placements will provide a fantastic opportunity to gain skills or be a stepping stone into a chosen career.

Venus Legal will offer two Legal Assistant placements under the Kickstart scheme.

Lorna McGlone, CEO and Founder of Venus Legal commented:

“We are delighted to have been approved as a Kickstart organisation.  I am passionate about developing people and this scheme will help to provide access to the legal profession”.

Venus Legal was launched in December 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, to bring a fresh new approach to the legal industry.  The firm specialises in Industrial Disease and Medical Negligence issues.  With over 14 years’ experience in Civil Litigation, Lorna McGlone’s vision is to create a law firm with passion and purpose.
