Supporting Life-changing Injuries.
At Venus Legal, we are committed to supporting individuals who have experienced life-changing injury, illness or trauma, particularly where those experiences arise from the environments in which they were expected to work and serve.
As part of this, we have expanded our work into military claims, supporting current and former members of the Armed Forces who have suffered serious injury or abuse during their service.
This is a highly specialist and sensitive area of law. The individuals affected have often experienced significant physical and psychological impact, and for many, coming forward is not an easy step.
Why this matters.
Military claims can arise in a number of different circumstances. These include:
- Noise-induced hearing loss
- Non-freezing cold injuries (NFCI)
- Sexual abuse or assault during service
Behind each of these cases is a person whose life has been affected, often permanently, by their experiences.
For many, the legal process is not just about compensation. It is about accountability and the opportunity to move forward.
Our role, therefore, is to ensure that individuals feel supported, understood and properly guided throughout what can often be a complex and emotional process.
A specialist, supportive approach.
Given the nature of these cases, our approach is always centred on the individual.
We understand that these claims require more than just legal expertise, they require sensitivity, discretion and a clear focus on wellbeing.
To support this, we have invested in technology designed to make the process more accessible and less of a burden for our clients. Our dedicated platform allows clients to access information, receive updates and manage their claim more easily, reducing unnecessary delays and helping to create a smoother and more efficient experience.
Strengthening expertise in military claims.
Alongside this expansion, our Partner, Stacy Pimlott, has been appointed as Joint Coordinator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers’ (APIL) Military Special Interest Group.
This is a significant appointment, and reflects both Stacy’s experience in complex, high-value litigation and her commitment to improving access to justice for those affected.
APIL plays an important role in promoting safety, accountability and fairness within the legal sector, and this specialist group focuses specifically on the issues faced by those pursuing military claims.
Stacy’s appointment also marks the first all-female leadership panel within the group, an important step forward in representation within this area of law.
Our continued commitment.
At Venus Legal, our focus has always been on turning lives around.
Expanding into military claims is a natural progression of the work we do, supporting individuals who have been affected by their work and ensuring they have access to clear, expert advice and representation.
We recognise the courage it takes to come forward, and we are proud to stand alongside those seeking answers, accountability and support.
